BASE Jump competition Benidorm, Spain

For the 4th year running, the Hotel Bali in Benidorm, Spain, is hosting the BASE Jump World Championship Accuracy competition from June 10th to 11th 2011.

The event, founded in 2008 as SpainBASE 08, is going into its 4th year and still keeps the buzz. Two days of intense competition from the observation deck of Europe´s tallest hotel again brought some of the biggest names in the sport to Spain. ProBASE contender Chris McDouggal from Australia, winner of several BASE Jump competitions in the past, German accuracy specialist Klaus Renz, winner in Benidorm at 2 previous occasions, or Norwegian Stig Knudsen are some of the contenders for the win again this year.
Friday 10th the pre-rounds take place and the finals will be held on Saturday, 11th. Show and exhibition jumps complete the program for 2011.
